Some of the interesting architecture found around the Liverpool area. Note the windows with their advanced environmental control system created by the local kids.
Not your typical English garden in the backyard. Liverpool boasts "wild" gardens surrounded by intricate patterns of barbed wires and fencing. Discarded beer bottles and beer cans were also used to accent the garden to give it an urban charm.
The friendly Scousers (People from Liverpool) will help you decorate your automobile and make your car into that semi-convertible you've always wanted. Note how they managed to make the glass bits into a small pile of snow - what Christmas spirit!
Local artists proudly display their work in public open-aired galleries found all over the city.
Wildlife abound in Liverpool. My camera wasn't fast enough to capture them, but they include 7 varieties of rats, pigeons, 8 varieties of cockroaches, 3 varieties of fleas, and Scousers themselves. Exotic plants thrive in the rubbish filled cracks along most of the streets. You'd think you're on a safari while walking in Liverpool... especially at night.
The environmentally conscious Scousers recycle rubbish by tastefully decorating their streets. Their popular "heaping" style decoration would make even Martha Stewert green with envy.
This is the offical Liverpool Christmas tree (I'm not kidding!) as seen down at the City Centre. They recycle Christmas trees as well by getting Manchester's tree from the previous year, leaving it in cold storage for the year. Green paint covered up most of the brown spots except where they ran out of paint (see the bottom of the tree). The lights are hung in a way that it mimics the local hair style, which is long, unkempt, tangled with that special Liverpool odor. The greasy finger and facial stains on the glass panel blurring the nativity scene inside just adds some mystery to the whole Christmas Legend.
