| Sights from the walk from Flåm to Aurland. |
I got up early today because everyone else pretty much did. I had enough sleep anyway and was eating brekkie by 9 and out the door for my first hike since my accident. I walked into town and got some food before heading along the bay and headed toward Aurland.
The path to Aurland first wound through the harbour, then up some paved pathway with spectacular views of the fiords the whole way. An explosion of spring and summer flowers dotted the roadside and hillside, filling the air with such a nice fragrance. I walked for a few hours, bumping into an American girl and chatted with her for a while.

I continued on to a hillside where there were some structures left over from the 1600's and rested there for a while before a light sprinkling of rain started coming down. I headed back to Flåm after that and finally reaching the town again at 4:00. It was a nice hike and I'm glad I got to work my legs again, which didn't give me any trouble.
After napping for a few hours, I chatted with Michael, the Irish guy and Welco, the Dutch for a while before working on the journal.
