The Scotsmen eventually came home that morning and they eventually passed out sleeping in the living room. I packed and got ready to leave. I said my good-byes to the new people I met in the hostel and the old friends I met a week before.
Aitutaki reminds me of the laid back rural countryside of Taiwan, which is now long lost due to over-development. I would highly recommend the Cook Islands to anybody - but be forewarned - there's not much to do on the islands so if you do visit, be prepared to relax and not do much.
