| Beaches along the east end of the island - Rarotonga, Cook Islands |
I went into town today and rented a pushbike for 3 days. I took the long way home and rode along the Western side of the island. The ride took a while but I was rewarded with some spectacular views of the trees and plants around the island.

One thing I noticed that people often bury their dead right in their front yard, so there are many houses with one or two grave sites. After getting back to the hostel, I rode out to Fruits, which suppose to have some pretty good snorkeling. It's about 15 minutes south of Muri Beach by push bike.

It was a nice place to snorkel as I saw a large school of foot-long Parrotfish chomping on the corals. I could hear the sound of their chomping in the water. The water is a bit deeper also but not as many butterfly fish as the Muri Lagoon.
I went back to the hostel after that and watched a forgettable movie with the gang there and then played more cards afterward.
