USA - Snowy Egret - Egretta thula

The Snowy Egret (Egretta thula) is a small white heron with a thin black bill and long black legs with yellow feet. Their habitat range from the lower Great Lakes in North America to South America.

One of the ways an egret hunts for food is by dipping its foot in the water to attract fish (pictured) to the surface, and then makes another pass to catch the fish.
