9/19/2009 – This week we spent a few days with Shella, our England to Bermuda to Los Angeles transplant and also checked out a few other landmarks and then headed inland into the deserts. I’ve never been to a place as quiet as Joshua Tree National Park. It was a nice break from LA.

After that, it's zooming back across the southern states to go back to Florida for some rest and relaxation with some home comfort before heading out to the South Pacific with a backpack.
