Mountains of Rarotonga

10/30/2009 – It’s another beautiful day today on Rarotonga and we did absolutely nothing. After being unemployed for more than a year, I still find it difficult to sit around and do nothing – well, I read and snorkeled a little bit so that counts for something.
Yesterday, we climbed the Raemaru Mountain which was a flat-topped mountain which is 365 meters above sea level. At the base of mountaintop, you need to climb the last bit by pulling yourself up with ropes and hooks anchored into the sheer rock face.

Gareth - a Panto Princess should not harbor the feeling of hate! How's the Panto rehearsal going? Jimmy - You're just a princess all the time :)
