11/2/2009 – The little-used outer loop trail on Atiu loops along the coast of the island. It’s a beautiful trail with parts shaded in towering banyan trees covered with epiphytes and other tropical foliage. There are many beaches along the trail and hikers can discover many beautiful deserted beaches with turquoise waters and giant-clam-studded reefs.
