Diving Black Kite (Milvus migrans)

Diving Black Kite (Milvus migrans) - Australia - Northern Territory
GeoCard #1132

1/11/2010 – This post wraps up the Australia GeoCards for now. It poured most of the days with parrots and lorikeets squawking loudly everywhere. Tree frogs, mud skippers and all sorts of lizards and skinks are seen around Darwin. I’m definitely in the tropics but it feels different than Central / South America. It felt less dangerous and tame for some reason even though many things can kill you here. Next stop - Singapore.
