Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus)

1/7/2010 – The Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) is the largest of all living reptiles. It is found in suitable habitats in Northern Australia, the eastern coast of India and parts of Southeast Asia. Saltwater crocodiles generally spend the tropical wet season in freshwater swamps and rivers, moving downstream to estuaries in the dry season, and sometimes traveling far out to sea. They very territorial and fierce and are known to attack humans who enter the crocodiles' territory.
