GeoReview : Wheeleez

After hauling my Bic Yakka several hundred feet through sandy terrain scattered with exposed oak roots, I thought to myself that there’s gotta be an easier way to haul my kayak around when the launch site is not reachable by car. I wanted an easy way to move the kayaks without having to unfold them first and then strapping on to the kayak cart that I have. Even when I tried putting an assembled kayak on the kayak cart and strapping it down, they often slide off or get bogged down in sandy soil.
After doing some searching on the internet for a solution, I came across the Wheeleez Beach Cart. I remember seeing these down on the Jersey Shore where people used them to haul big ice boxes from their far-away parking spaces all the way to the beach and across sandy terrain. I thought this could be a solution so I got one.
What a difference the Wheeleez Beach Cart made! My back and arms no longer need to strain in moving my folded kayaks to the launch site. The wheels of the cart are big flexible balloon-like wheels and they smoothly glide over all the bumpy, rocky and sandy terrain, and even some steps! All in all, I’m very satisfied with the Wheeleez Beach Cart and expect to get many use out of it in the future both for my kayaks and day trips to the beach.
